Echo Dot

Amazon’s latest Echo Dot may look more like an air-freshener than a smart speaker but with Alexa steering the way it packs a punch in both audio and smart functions. With an RRP of £49.99 in the UK, today sees Amazon discount it down to just £28.99 for Prime members, and throw in 6-months access to its Unlimited Music streaming service free of charge.

The Echo Dot 4th-Generation lets you set timers and alarms, make lists, check the traffic or turn down the lights, as well as listen to music, access the TV guide or make hands-free calls to friends and family. With the 6-month subscription to Amazon Unlimited Music bundled in free of charge, there’s no need to pay for a Spotify or YouTube Music plan. You just need to remember that once the six-month period is up, Amazon will begin charging for Unlimited Music at £7.99 monthly.
