NEW DELHI: Realme has extended the warranty on its existing phones to May 31. If you own a Realme phone and the warranty on it expires between March 20 and April 30, 2020, then your phone will automatically get one month extended warranty till May 31, without any additional charge.

“The replaced period of devices has also been extended by 30 days for those customers, who have purchased or will purchase realme devices from March 15 till April 30, 2020,” announced the company.

For any information regarding warranty on Realme phones, users may contact the customer support at 18001022777. “Our CALLME service is available all 7 days of the week from 9:00 – 18:00 hours,” Realme said.

Recently, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will be soon launching its first smartwatch in India along with new Bluetooth speakers. Sheth in the recent episode of Realme’s Ask Madhav YouTube series showcased the upcoming Realme smartwatch without revealing much details about it. However, it did confirm that it will be launched soon. Realme’s Bluetooth speakers will be also launched in India in 2020 along with Realme TV.

Meanwhile, after Samsung, Apple’s manufacturing partners Foxconn and Wistron have temporarily closed their production facilities keeping the safety of the workers and comply with the government’s decision at their manufacturing plants.

Apple supplier Wistron assembled low-end iPhone SE (now discontinued) and is now assembling iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 at its Bengaluru facility. The highest-selling iPhone XR is now being manufactured at Apple supplier Foxconn’s facility in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, said news agency IANS.
