Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has extended warranty services for all its devices whose warranty expired from March 23 onwards. The announcement comes amidst the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and the consequent lockdown. The warranty has been extended till May 31 and includes Oppo smartphones as well as other accessories.

So if you have an Oppo phone and its warranty has expired or will expire between March 23 to May 31 time period, then you can avail the extended warranty without any additional charge.

“Oppo customers can avail the offer warranty extension for products purchased from authorized offline and online platforms whose validity expires post 23rd March 2020 till 31st May. This initiative is to ensure the well-being of general public” said the company in a press statement.

As mentioned above, the warranty extension is available on Oppo phones, and accessories like charger, data cable, earphones and even the internal battery. Further, the validity of customer services like one-time screen replacement and complete damage protection has also been extended.

Meanwhile, the company has launched Enco M31 headphones in India. The newly launched audio device comes in two colour options – Black and Green and is the company’s second neck-band style wireless earphones. First, was the Oppo Enco Q1 launched in 2019. Oppo says that the new headphones are classified as the high-resolution audio product and come equipped with High-Res wireless certification.

The device features Bluetooth version 5.0 and LDAC for wireless connectivity. It is said to have a transmission speed of 990kpbs. Oppo Enco M31 comes with 9.2mm dynamic drivers with independent bass chambers and PET titanium composite diaphragms. Neck band of the headphone is made up of shape-memory metal with a layer of liquid silicone rubber on the top.
