LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) -Border Patrol agents find four dozen undocumented immigrants during an alleged human smuggling attempt near a transportation lot.
The incident happened on Jan. 21 when agents responded to a tip regarding multiple vehicles dropping off people near Union Pacific Boulevard.
Agents arrived and apprehended 48 people who were determined to be in the U.S. illegally and from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Nicaragua.
All of the individuals were taken into custody and were processed accordingly.
