Acer announced new models from its ConceptD lineup of PCs. The ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro have been refreshed with improved internals, and Acer announced the new ConceptD 300 desktop. The ConceptD 7 Pro ($3,500) and ConceptD 7 ($3,300) will be available in North America starting in December. The ConceptD 300 does not have a North America release date at this time. Instead, it will be available in EMEA in November starting at €1,299.
The ConceptD 300 is a powerful mid-tower desktop designed for people who create BIM and CAD projects. It can handle intensive 3-D modeling and animation thanks to its powerful internals. It runs on up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics. It can come with up to 4TB HDD storage and up to 1TB of PCIe M.2 SSD storage.
The ConceptD 300 wraps all of those internals inside an 18L tower that can fit on a desk.
The ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro are powerful laptops built for creators. Acer highlights that despite being laptops, both devices offer “desktop caliber performance.” The laptops run on 10th Gen Intel Core processors, have built-in AI for intelligent performance and support Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) and Thunderbolt 3.
The ConceptD 7 Pro has up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q graphics with 3072 CUDA Cores, 48 RT Cores, 384 Tensor Cores, and 16GB of GPU memory. The ConceptD 7 has up to an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super Max-Q.
Both ConceptD 7 laptops have a 15.6-inch 4K IPS display that’s PANTONE validated. The display has a color gamut that covers 100 percent of the Adobe RGB color space and color accuracy of Delta E<2.
