Three Mobile is renowned for its signature SIM only plan that gives customers an unlimited data allowance so they can stream music, binge on TV shows and use their smartphone as a personal hotspot as much as they want.

The UK network is currently discounting this contract, meaning it can now be picked up for just £20 per month.

In addition to providing all-you-can-eat internet, the plan also comes with unlimited minutes and texts.

The 12-month tariff also allows customers to use their data, minutes and texts in 71 countries across the world.

While the network’s offer will surely be tempting for anyone looking for a SIM only deal, Virgin Media has just announced a new plan of its own that staunchly rivals it.

The firm’s contract comes with 200GB of data, 5,000 minutes and unlimited texts.

Virgin Media’s 12-month tariff costs £22 per month which is slightly higher than Three Mobile’s offering.

Although this option offers less data, the hefty 200GB allowance will surely be more than enough for even the most vigorous streamers.

Virgin Media has claimed it delivers faster 4G on average than Three, Vodafone, Sky and O2, according to Ookla’s analysis of Speedtest Intelligence data from the first quarter of 2019.

The firm’s new SIM only deal was made available yesterday, April 18 and will be obtainable until April 25.

This means customers should act fast if they want to take advantage.
