MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Jose Rojas drove in Jared Walsh with a sacrifice fly in the second inning, leading the Mobile BayBears to a 3-1 win over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Wednesday.

Zac Ryan allowed a run, but got Monte Harrison to ground out with runners on second and third to end the game for his second save of the season.

The sacrifice fly by Rojas, part of a three-run inning, gave the BayBears a 1-0 lead before Michael Barash hit a two-run home run later in the inning.

In the top of the ninth, Jacksonville saw its comeback attempt come up short after Brian Miller hit an RBI double, bringing home Rodrigo Vigil to cut the deficit to two.

Mobile starter Alex Klonowski (5-1) picked up the win after scattering six hits over six scoreless innings. Opposing starter Max Duval (2-8) took the loss in the Southern League game after allowing three runs and four hits over seven innings.

Harrison doubled and singled twice for the Jumbo Shrimp.
