NEW DELHI: Oppo launched its budget smartphone A7 in India in November last year. The smartphone has not got a price cut of Rs 1,000. According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, Oppo A7 which was launched at Rs 14,990 can now be purchased at Rs 13,990 after the price drop. The new price is applicable across retail stores in the country. After the price cut the Oppo A7 will give competition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Oppo A7 specifications

The Oppo A7 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 720×1520 pixel resolution. The display is made scratch resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo topped with company’s own ColorOS and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor.

The smartphone offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users also have an option of expanding the storage by installing a microSD card. The Oppo A7 comes equipped with a dual rear camera with 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter accompanied with LED flash.

The smartphone also offers a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 4,320 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity it offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Recently, Oppo announced that it will launch its latest smartphone in India. The company has revealed that it will launch the Oppo K1 with in-display fingerprint sensor support on February 6. The smartphone will come in two colour options and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

The Oppo K1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup and offers a 25MP front shooter for selfies.
