Oklahoma basketball: Sooners’ first Jordan Brand gear shipment is in | Sports

Oklahoma football was not the only OU program to receive new gear this week.

With the Sooners’ move to Jordan Brand becoming official on July 1, the men’s basketball program received new practice gear and shoes, too.

They received a version of Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook’s line of basketball shoes, “Why Not?” ZER0.1s, as well as four different pair of Jordan Brand shoes.

In addition to the kicks, the Oklahoma men’s team received new practice gear with the new “Sooner Born” font and Jumpman logo.

The team is currently going through summer workouts and practices, and will begin practice ahead of the 2018 season in October.
