Next week we have a few new “AAA” releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Starlink: Battle for Atlas is finally launching on the console, and Soulcalibur VI offers an upgraded take on the legendary fighting franchise. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching next week, between October 15 and October 19, 2018.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas
Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a shooter which focuses on piloting spacecraft and blasting towering foes. The game features physical ships which you can buy and control in the game. The business model is similar to that of Disney Infinity or Skylanders.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas should launch on October 16, starting at $59.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.
Soulcalibur VI was officially announced at The Game Awards 2017. Unfortunately, it didn’t come as a surprise to many because it was leaked a few days prior. The game builds upon the mechanics of the legendary fighting franchise and even adds The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia as a guest character.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a boss-rush game which centers around defeating the “Deadly Sins.” The main mechanic in the game has to be its “downgrades.” Before each battle, you must sacrifice an attribute and level down to enter combat.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption should launch on October 18.
Lego DC Super-Villains
Lego DC Super-Villains is exactly what it sounds like. You play as the most notorious “bad guys” from the DC Universe and wreck havoc everywhere you go.
Lego DC Super-Villains should launch on October 16, starting at $59.99.
Other experiences like Crayola Scoot, For Honor: Marching Fire, Heavy Fire: Red Shadow, Home Sweet Home, theHunter: Call of the Wild – 2019 Edition, The Jackbox Party Pack 5, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, Transport Giant: Game of the Year Edition, and Warriors Orochi 4 should also release next week.
These are the biggest games launching soon, and many of them seem like absolutely thrilling experiences. Be sure to check out Starlink: Battle for Atlas and Soulcalibur VI because they appear to be the most unique games out of the lot. Which titles are you interested in? Let us know.
