GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Fire seriously damaged a Kentwood mobile home about 5 p.m. Friday, July 13.
At one point, flames were shooting out a window of the home in the 500 block of Prince Albert Street SE, near 44th Street and Eastern Avenue.
Neighbors said they believe the residents are out of town.
Firefighters from Kentwood and Cutlerville responded to the scene.
Brandi Bell, a neighbor, said she first saw smoke rolling past her window and thought neighbors might be using a grill.
Then she noticed flames shooting out a neighbor’s window close to an air conditioning unit. She ran to the home, broke a window and yelled inside to make sure no one was there.
