Endo International (ENDP) on Thursday reported adjusted profit of 71 cents per share on $745.5 million in sales. In the year-ago period, the generic pharmaceutical company earned 91 cents per share, excluding items, on $786.9 million in sales.
On average, analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research called for adjusted earnings of 59 cents a share on $697 million in sales.
For the year, Endo guided to adjusted earnings of $2.65-$2.75 a share on $2.87 billion to $2.92 billion in sales. Analysts had forecast adjusted income of $2.60 per share on $2.82 billion in sales.
In premarket trading on the stock market today, Endo stock rose 2.8%, near 16.50. Endo stock is highly rated by the standards of Investor’s Business Daily. It has a best-possible Relative Strength Rating of 99. The RS Rating tracks a stock’s performance over the past 12 months.
