One man was taken by ambulance to a city hospital with injuries.

BROCKTON — A sedan flipped onto its roof in a three-vehicle collision that sent one man to the hospital Friday morning.

Police and firefighters responded to the intersection of Belmont Street and Warren Avenue, to the side of the Brockton Superior Court, for a report of a crash at 6:52 a.m.

A school police officer, Julie Myshrall, reported over her radio to dispatch that she was on the way to work in her personal vehicle and came upon the crash.

First responders found a blue 2014 Chevrolet Equinox sedan on its roof in the southbound lane of Warren Avenue.

Two other vehicles were involved in the crash, a Yellow Cab taxi and blue 2018 Chevrolet Impala. The taxi suffered minor damage, but the Impala had extensive front-end damage and lost its front bumper.

The Equinox and Impala were both towed from the scene.

One man was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers of the other two vehicles declined medical treatment.

No charges had been filed in the crash, which remained under investigation, as of Friday morning.
