Black Ops 4 season reveal September 19
The next Call of Duty game, Black Ops 4, is set to launch on October 12 but the professional scene can’t wait that long. The new Call of Duty World League season will be revealed in a livestream on September 19 ahead of the first confirmed event in Las Vegas in December.
For this year’s game there’s added interest. Rumors have been swirling that the professional scene will switch to a 5v5 format, which would lead to every leading organization quickly scrambling to pick up an additional player. If indeed it does pan out this way it’ll certainly be one of the biggest shake-ups in competitive Call of Duty history, but we don’t have long to wait to find out.
